I recently was prescribed with tramadol and it says i take 1 50mg every 6 hours and max intake is 400 mg?

if i take 1 tablet every 6 hours thats only 200 mg, if the pain were to increase and 1 tablet didnt work, would i be able to take 2 tablets within the 6 hour limit? it doesnt say how many i can take within 6 hours.<br/>

Yes its okay to take another tablet if the first one doesn't work. Usually the standard is 2 pills. Also make sure to watch for the side effects. Medication affects everyone differently. <br/>
