Anyone takes effexor xr and tramadol? someone told me it is not safe to take together?

Effexor XR is 150mg and <strong>Tramadol</strong> 400 mg per day(100mg) tablets. Does it mean I meanly can take 1x4 times daily or be able to I affiliate more if I do never get adequateness pain relief and still be intimately related to 400mg per day?<br/>
