It shouldn't cause a gout attack. The serious side effects are listed as:an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, closing of your throat, swelling of your lips, tongue or face, hives). Discontinue taking the tramadol and phone your medical practitioner. Less mischievous side effects: giddiness, oscitancy, headache, nervousness, tremors, anxiety, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, itch, dry jaws, and sweating. If any of these occur let your doctor know.
